Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with AutoCosmic. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return an item, please read the following policy carefully.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within ** 15 days** from the date of delivery (unless otherwise specified).
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, with original packaging, labels and seals intact.
  • Products that have been opened, used, damaged, or missing parts/items not included originally may not qualify for return.
  • Some items are non‐returnable for hygiene or safety reasons (for example, opened aerosol cans or consumables) or if otherwise stated in the product listing.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  • Please contact our customer service team via email at support@autocosmic.in or via the “Contact Us” form on our website and provide your order number, date of purchase and reason for return.
  • Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how and where to send the item.

3. Shipping the Return

  • Once your RA number is issued, securely pack the item in the original packaging (or equivalent) and include the order invoice/packing slip and RA number clearly.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us, unless we shipped the wrong item or the item is defective/damaged.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of shipment.

4. Condition of Returned Items

  • Upon receipt of the returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your return.
  • If the item meets the return conditions, we will initiate a refund or credit as requested.
  • If the item does not meet the return conditions (e.g., opened/used/damaged), we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a restocking or cleaning fee.

5. Refunds / Credit

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of our approval of the return.
  • Shipping costs (both original and return shipping) are non-refundable unless the return was caused by our error (wrong item shipped, defective item).
  • If you requested an exchange or store credit instead of a refund, this will be processed after the returned item is received and approved.

6. Exchanges

  • If you would like to exchange an item for a different variant (size, colour, model) please contact us and we will advise whether the exchange is possible.
  • Exchanges may only be accepted under the same return eligibility criteria and subject to availability of the requested replacement.

7. Defective or Damaged Items

  • If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage or defect and the packaging.
  • We will offer you a replacement, refund or credit and cover reasonable shipping costs for the return in such cases.

8. Return Limitations

  • Returns requested after the eligible period (e.g., after 15 days) may be refused or accepted at our discretion, possibly subject to a restocking fee.
  • Items purchased on clearance, sale, or under special promotion may have different return terms — please check the product listing.
  • If you abuse the return policy (e.g., frequent returns, used items returned as new) we reserve the right to restrict future returns/disallow refunds.
